I led the experience design, collaborating closely with product, engineering, and design teams across both Cash App and Square. I explored a ton of different design directions for the Cash App QR code. I wanted it to blend in with Cash App’s design system, while making sure native cameras and scanner apps could detect the code quickly and accurately.
